Courtyard Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting

The front desk was very accommodating. We got here very late. The facilities are very nice. Everything is very convenient.

The room was clean and the style was nice- that bathroom was a bit outdated. Not as nice as other courtyards I have stayed at. We were also sad there was not a pool. Still this was is a good location and much nicer than the double tree hilton down the streen we had originally booked at.

Check in was smooth and the room/ facility was very clean.

Clean, convenient, and lots of gathering spaces in the lobby and outdoors.

Everything was great

Spent a couple of days at the Courtyard Plymouth Meeting (PA) for business and will not be returning on my future travels to the area and not recommending to other team members. Due to a number of issues related to my flights in, did not arrive at the hotel until 4 o'clock in the morning. Originally planned on 3 nights at the Courtyard. First issue was there was no welcoming as a gold level member. Second issue was that the room smelled as if a prior occupant had smoked in the room (being 4 in the morning and coming off a bad set of flights did not feel up to going back down to reception). Found that the 3rd issue is that the side of the hotel I was on was facing the interstate and the room is not soundproof. And finally, the fourth issue was that due to early flight out of the Philadelphia airport that my final night would be best near the airport. I notified the front desk that I would be staying only two nights and not three and was told the "early departure" fee would be 50% of the daily rate. Not really good for a gold level member of the marriott program, but ok. However, upon check out and receipt of the invoice found that I was billed for the entire day. Contacted the hotel by phone and was told "oops for the confusion, but the full day rate is their policy. Have multiple future trips to the area for business but will staying somewhere else. Would be a one star if not for the outstanding service from Janice in the restaurant.

I had an issue with my phone getting stuck in one of the games and the night team was not helpful but the morning manager was amazing.

If I could have taken the bed when I left, I would have. It was SO comfortable. I slept like a rock. The room was a good size and everything is modern. Not necessarily close to much but that wasn’t an issue for me as I was just passing through. However, it was quiet and the staff were attentive. There’s food options at the hotel including a full bar, which makes up a bit for it not being in the most convenient location. Overall I’d stay again.
