Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection

Amazing stay at the Mauna Lani Resort. Loved the bay/beach front. The service was excellent! The room was kept clean always and had high quality decor and products. Everyone was helpful and welcoming. There were not too many people in mid-November which we absolutely loved. We had the hot tub all to ourselves in the evening. The beachside chairs and umbrellas plus the service was great. It was super relaxing to hang out. The snorkeling is better at the Beach Club and a shuttle takes you over to that beach. We enjoyed daily breakfast at Juice 101 down the road at the shopping center.

The staff at Mauna Lani is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The dining experience at the Canoe House is exceptional. I highly recommend Mauna Lani to family members and friends for its welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service.

Beautiful location with so much to do! I HIGHLY recommend some of the included activities like lei making and the cultural plant tour.

The Mauna Lani resort was a wonderful way to spend a relaxing few days. The aminities of the resort are wonderful. The room, the restaurants, the pools and the gym were all lovely. Other experiences were available for those who desire snorkeling, canoeing and biking adventures. Everything was so clean and organized. The staff was so kind and expressed the aloha of Hawaii.

I stayed at Mauna Lani with my wife on our honeymoon and we had a great time on the property. We spent multiple days at the beach and pool enjoying drinks and food from the Surf Shack. The concierge also recommended a couple of fun activities (stargazing, snorkeling with manta rays) and preferred vendors that we did in the afternoon/evening. The breakfast at Halani was great every day. I would highly recommend this resort for Big Island visitors.

Mauna Lani is the perfect place for a full reset. The setting is stunning, the atmosphere calm and refined, and the staff embody a genuine sense of aloha. Our ocean-view room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable in every detail, with soft cotton linens and thoughtful touches throughout. The sunrise waʻa (canoe) ride was the highlight of our stay—watching the sun rise over Mauna Kea is unforgettable. We snorkeled, swam with honu (sea turtles), enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tubs, joined nature walks, and learned to make leis. The beach was peaceful and perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with plenty of marine life. Staff came by with cold waters, frozen grapes, and frozen aloe for your skin—thoughtful gestures that elevated the whole experience. The meals at Hālani were excellent, especially at breakfast. The fresh fruit and ube pancakes with coconut ube sauce were outstanding. From arrival to departure, every moment felt thoughtful and restorative. We would absolutely return.

What a gorgeous property with amazing service! I was there for work, but certainly felt like a vacation. Service was excellent and staff was warm and welcoming! An outstanding experience all around!

The nicest property I have stayed at on the islands. The decor, room, pool, beach, restaurants and service were all a 10 out of 10! Spend the extra $ for an Ocean Front room and the sunrise canoe is a 100% must do!!
