Hunters Hot Springs Resort

This was the sixth motel we stayed in on a 10 day trip so we were comparing it to others. Overall it was a good experience. Check in was easy. Staff was pleasant but not overly talkative. A friendly resort dog followed us around but was obedient when told to stay out of our room. I like that it is out in the country with two small lakes on the property as well as a small geyser. There is no food on the premises so you must drive a few miles into town to eat.

I think we were the only ones staying at this place. But it was cool the staff was nice and super helpful. We really enjoyed the pool it was really nice after a nine hour drive

We stayed here because it was halfway to our destination, and the price was affordable. The bed was clean and comfortable, but the hotel in general was rundown and not as clean as I liked. There were geysers and hot springs, but no information given on if they were open or accessible. The location is good, but the place needs major refurbishing.

I love hot springs so I visit as many as I can. That being said it's hard for me to give a negative review of this place considering I found tue hot spring pool amazing! And the geyser was awesome!! The staff was also fantastic. Friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations for places to eat in town. Was bummed that the lounge has been closed for a few years although the information online made it seem like it was open. The rooms are definitely outdated and could use some help. The filter in the heater/A.C. unit is way past due for replacement. The carpet is old and tired. The bed also is due.to be replaced. BUT, overall the room was pretty clean AND for. $65 + tax, I am not complaining and would return solely because of the hot spring pool AND the customer service. My wife however may decide to pass on a return visit or opt to sleep in our truck. She made the comment that she'd much rather sleep in our travel trailer. It's unfortunate that the RV Park next door is no longer a part of the hot springs resort and since the hot spring pool is only open to guests at the resort, that rules out an RV trip. If you love hot springs and do not mind rustic (read outdated) accommodations, check this place out. If you are looking for 4 or 5 star accommodations, you should probably pass.

Have stayed in past. The natural hot springs pool was fabulous. Real warm and clean. Only sad part was that it was supposed to open at 7am but no one was around ..office and pool locked. Staff is pleasant and will stay again.

This place was very run down but clean. Poor cable and wifi. Closet was a small bar with one wooden hanger in the bathroom Person who check us in was nice but minimal in giving any information.

Very nice room, hot springs were wonderful and the room amenities were very nice. Plan on booking again soon!

The hotel rooms are very outdated. The bed was uncomfortable and there were a lot a bugs in the room.

Not a corporate chain of hotels or motels, but suited to hunters lodging and resort. Geese were visible in early evening and deer in late evening ,, is a down to earth lodging atmosphere. It was clean , neat, and served the purpose of my stay without the extravagance and higher costs of chain lodging. Mineral pool is pleasant to swimmers. Would stay again for the purpose and reasons given previously. If you need to be surrounded by a lot of superficial amenities check into a chain lodging. If your ok with the basic lodging setting this place will be suitable to your needs. Would recommend for a tight budget.

This was a nice place to stay on my solo trip cross country.
