Hotel Majoni

Food is really delicious. I liked all except two things I didn't like.

I was twice in Majoni during the same week (I did some hiking in the Dolomites). I arrived from the airport in Venice quite late, about 10 pm, the hotel was informed about it earlier. No dinner (even some soup or bread) was waiting for me inspite of it was included in the price. (Dinner is up to 9 pm)

Good location with barely a minutes walk into town and good parking. A slightly dated feel and a very generous 4 star rating. Food was OK and staff were very pleasant but seemed poorly trained. Whilst it is a large hotel the place was very dead with no guests using the bar or lobby. I imagine it may be very different in winter season. Facilities, service and style are not in keeping with the price and 4 star rating but comparable offerings in the town appear similar price point. Overall a comfortable but underwhelming stay.

Bar was not staffed but in fairness was barely used.

The location was perfect, and the hotel had everything you needed for a great stay.

The food is great. I liked everything except one thing. see below.

I wanted to leave one bag before hiking in the Dolomites (I came back to the same hotel after one week hiking), the hotel agreed but wanted to charge for it. This kind of behavior would be fine for a cheap hostel. Not for this kind of hotel.

Struttura accogliente, anche se un po’ datata. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. La cena a buffet è stata ottima, mentre la colazione un po’ scarsa. Posizione ottima.

The location of the property is fantastic and is very central. There was a young member of staff in the breakfast area that was very helpful. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was very clean and the maids did a great job cleaning so I cannot complain in this respect.

The hotel is extremely dated and dark. The breakfast buffet for a 4 star hotel was extremely limited and often was not stocked well (regardless of time visiting). The shower in the room was very poor and the shower head didn’t not stay in the right place resulting in having to hold the shower head to get washed. We stayed in a hotel not far from this one earlier in our trip which was cheaper and it was significantly more modern, with better food and better natural lighting and this was only 3 star! I probably would not stay here again which is a shame because the town is lovely!

Molto buona la posizione centrale con parcheggio. Cibo ottimo con ampia scelta e cucinato con maestria

Nessuna possibilità di avere acqua in brocca e per giunta la bottiglia da 75 cl viene a costare 5 euro

Staff molto gentile e sempre disponibile, stanze accoglienti e pulite. Posizione ottimale dell' hotel.
