Bedroom: You will be allocated one of our cozy small family rooms, within the bedroom there will be 1 x Double bed and 1 x Single bed, TV and tea & coffee making facilities. Bathroom: Our bathroom is en-suite, some of our rooms have a shower only and some may also have a bath (subject to availability - please contact us if you have a preference) this is accessed directly by the bedroom. The whole team was fantastic! Holly had the courtesy of putting me in a nicer room (because my stay was longer) with the Cathedral view. Such a nice gesture. All the pub staff were brilliant, especially a brunette girl (I wish I had asked her name), skinny, light blue eyes and a very sweet voice. She looked after me greatly during my stay. Great fun that they have live music in the pub. I had a couple of meals, including breakfast, and everything was super tasty and decent portions. My room was small but with everything I needed, was clean, quieter than expected considering it's above a pub, and the price for the location is great. Definitely, I'll stay here if I come back to Manchester and its beautiful people.

the location and staff

the room was very different than the website photos and because the building is very old, even though there was a sign to explain that hot water might take a while to reach our room, no matter how long we waited for it to arrive both nights of our stay it never did and had to shower with cold water the other thing was that the room had a damp smell and also, due to the shared toilets one of the corridors smelt horrible after it was used by a guest

No hot water in the room. No car park and near by paid car park is expensive. Very small cramped rooms.

Taking a very old building and making it so comfortable was impressive and amazing

Shower had low pressure is all I can say but the buildings over 200 years old do this is me being picky

The stay was absolutely lovely - I cannot complain about the price, or the stay itself ❤️ Only issue was trying to get up 5 flights of stairs after a few glasses of wine 😂
