Loved it - from The Healing Circle, the Saunas and the facials and Seaweed Wrap it was great. The food was lovely.

Good spa, pool and gym facilities and peaceful location with a beautiful lake. Check in was slow and was almost charged twice for my room at check out. Many might like healthy breakfast here as there was plenty of choice but turkey bacon, chicken sausage, apple infused butter and a load of seeds and granola are not for me!

"Not as Grand but more Expensive."

2.0

The initial payment through hotels.com was for a night and breakfast. At the hotel there is a cost it included lunch and evening meal Incl use of the spa. I booked a treatment on the day and they managed to muddle the hours up. We were advised the price each also covered the next day as we were going to be staying overnight, so it included lunch the next day and could leave at 4pm. Come the next day, I was told we would have to pay double the price each to stay at the hotel until 4pm and this would include lunch only. Check out at this hotel is 11am, there is conflicting information in the rooms, saying it is 10am, the key card locked us out at 10.10am. I had to go down to Reception twice to get the door open. There is alot of trainee staff in the hotel, they talk alot of cosh-bosh, and what we were advised on the day we arrived, actually was untrue. So the 2nd day would cost double the amount if we had stayed there, we left quite quickly to say the least! The indoor pool is quite cool. The whirl pools are warmer, but the Jacuzzi outside is freezing first hours of the morning. Lots of water beds to use and quiet rooms. Experience showers work really well, the tiniest steam room which will melt your swimming clothes, stupid place to have the outlet behind the bench! There is a freezer room too. Facilities are good in the changing rooms. Robes carry a large fine if you LOSE THEM. Room was standard, lge king size bed, rock hard not at all comfy. Food is excellent.

It is a great place for a short break. Treatments and food are excellent. I go regularly and love it. The only critics make is that it could do with a few more staff at Reception and in the restaurant. You do have to wait to check in and out and to be seated at the restaurant. May be a bit too long given that it is not cheap.
