Homewood Suites by Hilton Sacramento/Roseville

The bedroom was ok. The bed itself was too hard, and not comfortable. Our neon concern there was black mold in the bathroom we were unaware of. The staff/hotel should have been aware of this issue. Black mold doesn’t form over night and it takes months. Proper cleaning wasn’t done. The hotel had refused to compensate anything due to their own negligence. Black mold can make people sick. They had to close off the room even. We weren’t aware until the next morning when we alerted hotel staff. There was no apology or follow up. The management never followed up.

The hotel and grounds were super clean, pool was nice and room was spacious. The staff was really nice even with our midnight check in.

There wasn’t enough staff there and the keys frequently didn’t work to get into side doors.

Just like home

We stayed for 13 days in between the escrow close of our home. They were helpful keeping us in the same room for the duration. Staff like Eric (Sunshine) is truly made for customer service at the front desk. The rest of the staff not as friendly or helpful. Free breakfast daily and it had a good variety. The property offers free office area, gym 24 hours, pool and hot tub, ample parking and it’s very clean. The rooms are spacious and it was a good home away from home.

Hotel felt clean, staff was really nice, and breakfast was very yummy. Beds are a bit hard, but overall would stay there again

What I liked most about this hotel was the location. It is close to the Galleria in a very good area. The hotel desperately needs maintenance work, from broken ice machines to a bathtub that the shower/bath switch was rusted shut to toilet paper handles falling off. I was also frustrated by people playing basketball at 2am. Check out is noon, but housekeeping knocked at 10am asking when we were going to leave. I said noon. They came backed and knocked at 11am asking when we were going to leave saying they forgot, and I told them noon again. Then at noon when I left, they called down the hall if I was leaving. I am not sure why you have a noon check out and then they harass you to check out earlier. I do like many Homewood Suites, but this one has no pride in ownership.
