la Kasbah

The Kasbah is contained within the old Kasbah fort, just outside the walled town of Kairouan. The inside has been totally transformed with rooms overlooking a central courtyard and pool. Quiet and relaxing. In April, it seemed that the only visitors were people on business, the occasional bus of tourists and very few other tourists. It is clean and tidy. Service was excellent. There were nice touches such a providing a glass of lemon juice & a sticky cake on arrival, and a bowl of fruit in the room. However, there are silly things that need to be fixed for a hotel with high aspirations. The shower head in my room needed to be fixed. It seemed to me that the bread for breakfast was not fresh (at 7am). There were other small irritants.

This hotel has been well cared for and is very professionally operated. The wood trim is beautiful.

This is a very nice hotel with good breakfast and dinner. It's location is close to all attractions. Very friendly staff.

Was here for two nights. The staff is great to work with.

This is a beautiful hotel and there is a wonderful pool. There is not a lot of choice in town, so this is a high price for many travelers. But if you get the breakfast and dinner included the price is not so bad, given the options.

Everything about this hotel is spectacular! So much beauty everywhere - the walls, the ceilings, all in beautiful shape and truly magnificant!

This is right outside the Medina, close to the places you will want to see in Kairouan.

The spacious room was beautifully decorated. The food was good. And unbeatable location.

Only stayed one night, nice hotel, good food, nice hotel, furnishing a little dated, staff didnt seem too friendly compared to the other hotel we stayed at but we were here only one night so difficult to gauge
