Springhill Suites by Marriott Morgantown

Very nice room, a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Had a lot of updated features like a dimmer switch above the bed. Bed was super comfortable, towels were soft. Area around the hotel felt safe and was easy to find. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Only downside was that it did not appear that the bathroom floor had been cleaned at all, lots of hairs and debris.

The hotel lobby and breakfast area was under construction and we didn't know about it until we got there to check in. The breakfast was moved to two conference rooms and didn't have a working waffle maker, which is our kids favorite part of the breakfast.

Despite construction going on, overall it was a good stay.

Good for a work trip.

In middle of remodel. Staff was nice. Area filled with transients.

We were charged through Expedia for this booking AND through the hotel, so we paid double. I have been unable get a refund for the second charge because there was not a manager on site at checkout or when I have called. It’s on me to keep calling and hoping I can speak with someone as no one offers to have a manager call me back.

I requested an early check-in. When I got there they were very rude. When I explained why I had requested and needed the early check-in they simply did not care and was very rude. I was given an room but I had to fight for it.
