Springhill Suites by Marriott Morgantown

Carla greeted us and checked us in! She was very polite, courteous and friendly to deal with. Our room was quiet even with some upgrades to the property ongoing! Thank you to all your staff!

Hotel was under construction in the lobby. The rooms had been remodeled and were modern and clean.

Large room, comfy, equipped very well, everything you expect, and a nice breakfast for us. Since I have mobility issues, it did need a grab bar on the wall of the shower. We stayed when the lobby was being remodeled, BUT I count that as not important in the rating.

Excellent and accommodating customer service.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. They are in the middle of some renovating and still went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Didn’t have super high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The suite was spacious with two double beds and a sofa bed for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable with quality bedding/linens. The room’s decor was pretty modern and included microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker. The hotel wasn’t full, so I enjoyed having the heated whirlpool in the fitness center all to myself. They are doing some renovations of the lobby, which didn’t impact my stay apart from having to make a small detour while checking in/out.

Overall, I had a nice stay. The breakfast area could use some improvements.

We were not impressed when we drove up and saw there was construction going on at the hotel. Went to check in and the entire lobby was under construction with dust everywhere. You could breathe it in. Clara checked us in. We got to the room and the AC wasn’t working. I called to talk with Clara and she said she would be right down to look at it. Waited over 10 minutes before I went to look for her. Waited for her in the lobby for another 5 minutes. She finally arrived off of a smoke break. Clara was able to fix the issue with the AC and we had a comfortable night. There should be a construction warning before booking!

The hotel lobby is under construction. The junior suite was very spacious and bedding was comfortable. The bathroom smelled like mildew. It is surprising that a this hotel chain still uses shower curtains with a bath tub. The inside of the shower curtain has mold at the bottom, thus explaining the smell. Breakfast was served in a meeting room, not too much to choose from.

Fantastic place with a wonderful breakfast and in a good area with other eating options!
