"Location location location"

Location and the staff was amazing

The pool and hot tub water was cloudy and smelled of mold. The tile around the pool area is extremely slippery and my son fell twice.

Love Bay City! Love the shops, restaurants and nightlife. Love that Doubletree is walking distance to every place we enjoy visiting. We always stay at Doubletree when we are in town

We loved Jessica at check in. Also the staff at the ballroom were wonderful and all of them seemed genuinely happy to be working there. The cookies at check in were an added bonus we did not know about. Our room was quiet and we got the additional pillows we had asked for. Very nice and beautiful place.

Lisa that we had for breakfast on Friday morning was rude and really did not seem very pleasant. Agreeably it took me a short time to get seated as I ran into my cousin at another table/ family event, but her comment regarding making my husband wait was uncalled for. Not a big deal but wanted to also say the breakfast could be comped or reduced with a voucher and tv was a little confusing to figure out. Maybe some kind of instructions in room would help.

"Not great, but a place to sleep"

Location was good

Tv didn't work the first day and they couldn't fix it. Found earring that wasn't ours. Furnishings seemed outdated. They rushed us for lunch and didn't know how to make their specialty drink offered of Irish coffee. Paid 9 dollars for a black cup of coffee and a shot of Baileys brought to the table separately. Not worth 9 dollars.

"Madeline is the worst guest employee"

Dakota and Jessica were wonderful with the others - very professional and personable. I hate to say but Madeline that greeted us at check in the night before around 4:50AM was the rudest employee ever. She was on her cell phone behind the counter didn’t greet us at walk in give any eye contact during check in with a bad attitude. She was very matter of fact and even said “like I said” during a question we asked in conversation very passive aggressive behavior was unwarranted for guest that drove long distance miles for a family event. Luckily there’s other great employees because if I only dealt with Madeline I would not be back to this HOTEL EVER and was reason I have 4 stars vs 5. Madeline gets zero stars for her lack of customer service
