Quiet location

Pillows were too large and hard. Too much light through the windows at night. The reception was not happy that I booked through a 3rd party.

We have stayed in several rooms at this well-appointed and superbly run inn. All have been impeccably clean, well-stocked and comfortable. Beds, linens and towels are high-end and very comfortable. Each room is unique and beautifully decorated. Take the time to look a the pictures! It's a very quiet neighborhood, you can walk to everything - dinner, drinks, the beach, the wharf, the harbor - everything! The inn provides fully stocked kitchens in many rooms, beach needs (towels, chairs, umbrellas, toys), bikes and helmets and daily snacks. The rooms are vintage in feel but with many modern touches - blackout shades, wireless phone chargers, smart tvs, lighted makeup mirrors, microwaves, coffee makers, fridges, bathrobes, and safes. The ownership/staff are incredible. It really is just the loveliest place to stay. It is locally owned and operated, and it really shows.

We Loved the location, you could just walk to the wharf and the beach.

Perfect location within a block from the beach and harbor. Staff was super friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome and at home.

The Harbor House Inn provided exceptional customer service, the location was close to the beach & restaurants, & the kitchen amenity was a plus! I would definitely come back again!

We needed a place for just one night on our trip up the coast….we wished we had more time to stay here and will definitely be back. Incredibly clean, bright and cheery. The bed was the best bed we had ever slept in! (I am getting the model info from the proprietor - it really was that good!) Easy to walk to the beach and to town. Very easy check in and check out. A delightful find at a very reasonable price.

Family run business and it’s apparent every step of the way; from how you’re greeted, the condition of the rooms and the high quality staff. Charming modern rooms with smart TVs, super comfortable beds. I have never heard a peep from a neighbor, plus you can’t hear the freeway which is uncommon in SB hotels. It’s a true gem of a place.

Comfortable, large and super clean accommodations. We always sleep so well at Harbor House Inn. The 'apartment' has everything you could possible need. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgable. Can't beat the location, easy walk to Funk Zone and beach. Designated parking and easy street parking.

I had an excellent experience and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were very clean and beautiful, and the location is extremely close to the beach, which was a big plus.

The only downside was that the front desk was only available 24 hours..

We stayed at harbour house in for just one night. We were greeted by the friendliest of hosts when we arrived who gave us everything we needed to know about Santa Barbara for our stay including dining recommendations. Bikes were provided should you need them during your stay and also they offer complementary snacks in the reception area which was cute. Parking is right outside the room which is convenient and the we stayed in a suite which was very spacious.
