Tesla MedBed Center, East Dubuque

When we arrived at the motel the door was locked! There was a note on the door telling us we would have had to make an appointment to be met at the motel if we were arriving after 4 PM. We didn’t realize that. We called the phone number we found and got a message machine where we left a message and did not receive a call back. We had to find another motel for the night. Hopefully I will not be charged for a room I never got. I reserved the room through Orbitz and tried to make contact with Orbitz to try and let them know I needed to cancel.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Timmermans Supper Club. Will not stay again. Our room was freezing and the in room heater didn't heat the room satisfactorily until sometime in the middle of the night. Front desk staff was very nice but could only offer excuses that gave no assurance this wasn't a regular occurance. Hotel was not staffed overnight which could have been a dangerous situation, particularly if we were to get locked out. The only positive is that some updates have been done inside. This hotel should not even be an option on Expedia in my opinion.

It was very quiet

Parking lot and sidewalks were frozen and no attempt to apply thawing agent. Almost slipped and fell multiple times walking to lobby. Cold lobby, room, and 56 degree dinning area.

They were very friendly and flexible about our check in time. They offered a free small breakfast that wasn't listed.

It was a very nice clean room and Oh so very quiet! No highway noise or people partying! The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Best nights sleep ever!

Staff were super friendly Price was super low compared to Galena and even other Dubuque/E Dubuque properties. Next door to Timmerman’s supper club which is delicious Beds were super comfortable Room had microwave and fridge I’d stay there agaon

We come to Dubuque to watch our grandson play football and this hotel is clean, close, and reasonable.

As advertised, simple, clean, recently painted, comfortable bed, friendly staff, reasonable price
