Turned on the jacuzzi tub and it smelt like raw sewage. Could hear everything in the adjoining cabin.
USIt was extremely clean and cozy. The jetters on jacuzzi are phenomenal if you are seeking a therapeutic getaway! Reasonable pricing with excellent service. Host is always available to respond to your needs. I would highly recommend this place for a couple who is seeking a fun trip!
USUSUSThe location is perfect since you are right by The Village and super close to restaurants and fun locations like Mineshaft Alpine Coaster and Big Bear Snow Play. Our cabin was absolutely amazing. Very comfortable and spacious and clean. Communication was great and they text back right away and are super friendly. This will definitely be our "Go To" every time we go to Big Bear.
I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this place. I mean maybe it would be nice if they provided the firewood for the fireplace if I had to say something bad but we didn't mind buying it and every single liquor store sells it, so we didn't have trouble finding a spot to buy the firewood.

There was a mouse trap by the kitchen, stove and refrigerator, which went off in the middle of the night and sure enough there was a mouse. The fact that there was already a trap in the unit tells me they knew they had a problem and still rented it out, which is extremely disturbing. The next night we heard noises coming again from the kitchen, which once again sounded like it was probably a mouse. Was very disappointed in the response of the facility caregiver. they simply said sorry and that they would have their maintenance person look at it after we left, but certainly didn’t help our experience. It was awful. I would never stay here again and I definitely would not recommend it and they didn’t even offer to refund the cost of the room for both nights, which they absolutely should have you’re going to these cottages expecting to have a romantic getaway, not be experiencing traps going off in the middle of the night, capturing rodents.
