I believe that more coffee supplies for the room such as cream and sugar would be nice.

It was our first time in Santa Fe and we chose Las Palomas for our introduction. It was a positive experience, but it could've been better. Let me start by saying that the staff was terrific. John and Angeline at the front desk were, warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Sam, the general manager, hovered in the background making sure all ran smoothly. The hotel itself is charming. The buildings, there are several, are old, but either restored or being restored. There is a Southwestern charm to the place that does not disappoint. But, we had a problem. After check-in, we went to our room and immediately noticed a strong odor--a drainage issue from the bathroom. tried to call the front desk using the room phone, but the phone weren't working. I got the desk through my cell phone and was told the maintenance staff had gone home for the day, however a can of Glade was available. A few minutes later, Angeline came to the room with the Glade. She stepped in and reacted to the "aroma," and knew the Glade would be of no use. She went back to the front desk and a few minutes later we were offered another room. Problem solved. The speed with which we were taken care of was appreciated. But didn't anyone notice the smell in the room prior to out arrival? Housekeeping, where are you? I also have to add that the first room (even without the odor) and the second room were nice,and kudos to the management for retaining the Southwestern theme and restoring old buildings, but all in all, the rooms were fairly standard. No "wow" factor here. The main building of the hotel, on the other hand, was impressive with art galore, a very nice breakfast, and optional treats. And the location was excellent--a short walk to the plaza and other popular Santa Fe attractions. Again, John and Angeline were extremely helpful throughout our visit. Would we stay here again? Good question. Next time we go to Santa Fe I'll have an answer.

The people were extremely nice and I really appreciated them. * It was great to have ice cream available until 10 o’clock at night. * The value of the hotel is good.

The first room we were assigned had a locked door that no one could get open, so we had to switch rooms late at night, which was frustrating. * The hotel was much farther from the Santa Fe Plaza Square than I expected. * It would have been nice to have better coffee in the room, such as a pod-style coffee maker. * The mostly hard concrete floors were not very comfortable, especially for an older person. * Overall, I was hoping for something a bit more upscale.

Close to the plaza. Good size room with fridge and microwave. Nice breakfast. Offered a drink upon arrival as well as home made chips and marshmallows which were a very nice touch.

Hand soap was missing. The Kleenex box was 1/3 full as in had not been replaced with a new unused box. There also was a noticeable ants problem. Traps had to be strategically placed in the room 3 days in a row. To their credit, Las Palomas offered me a new room but I declined not wanting to have to pack and haul all my stuff.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We loved the breakfast every morning and easy walk to town.

Beds were not super comfy and you can hear a lot through the windows and from people above you if you are on a lower level.

Quaint, staff wonderful, walking distance to town, breakfast was delicious, parking perfect for our B Van. Rooms clean, bed comfortable

Suite was a bit on the tired side. Chair ripped and stuffing coming out. Furniture needs replacing for most part. TV’s small and not Smart.
