Collins House Apartments by CLLIX

This property is in a great location, a short walk from Southern Cross Station. It is convenient for a tram services on Bourke street. The apartment was well equipped and modern in decor. The night time view of the city was good!

Some of the staff avoided eye contact when we came in and out but the people at check in and check out were very helpful and friendly. The couch was quite uncomfortable but looked stylish!

Location was perfect for trams, restaurants, and markets.

We were on 44th floor and it was surprisingly not quiet from the street noises.

The location near cafes, restaurants and public transport was great! The size of the apartment was good for 2 people. Bed was comfortable albeit a little firm for my liking but it was still good. The security to get in was comforting. Great views of the fireworks for Moomba Festival! Full kitchen & full sized fridge with all you’d need. The apartment was very clean. The shower was really good 😊

The corner of Collins and Williams Street although a great spot for walking the area and for public transport was a little noisy from traffic and the trams even being up so high in the building. The loungeroom window didn’t seal properly or stay shut tight enough to keep the noise at a minimum and one night there was some music coming from somewhere until about 3 am…no idea from where but it wasn’t great - understand the music noise was not the fault of the owner of the apartment but if the window sealed properly it might have made a difference. The pillows were as flat as pancakes. For the price we paid, the area we were in (I.e. many cafes with a strong coffee culture) and the other good qualities about the apartment, I was disappointed there wasn’t a coffee machine in the apartment - just a pod machine would have been much appreciated.

Wish there was a tv in the bedroom. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment and received a 2 bedroom.
