Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lafayette by IHG

Girl at front desk was nice but had to continue to look for her, as she was enjoying conversation at office when first checking in, while enjoying other guest outside sitting and talking rest of stay. Beds had hair from previous guest, it smelled horrible, ( I left to buy febreze) and the shower head was covered in brown gooo ( have pics ).

Close to eateries and highway.

First time ever staying at Holiday Inn Express (and this is always my choice when traveling) that I wasn’t allowed to leave my motorcycle under the awning overnight. Never has been an issue. The lobby had a bad moldy smell and there were dehumidifiers plug into the hallways. Yrs of smoke residue still on ceiling of shower and the phone is basically yellow from it. Drain in tub was broke and laying on the side of the tub. The night clerk was not friendly and had a woman from room 310 complaining because the ac unit was leaking and the carpet all around it in the room was soaking wet. Worst experience yet as sad as it is for the Holiday Inn Express.

The elevator call button was broken from the 3rd floor. There were issues with the room we were given, but the front desk handled them promptly and got us moved to a new room.

The location was very good.

The hotel didn't have our reservation for two double beds.

Location was good, decent breakfast.

The air conditioner in the room did not work well, there was an odor in the room. The next morning the elevator wasn't working so we had to carry the luggage down the stairs

Hotel is very well kept! Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Loved our stay no complaints at all!

Long black hair in tub, dirt in the corners of tub. A/C leaked the carpet was wet smelled like mold. Soap, lotion holder was nasty. The chair in the room was stained and dirty. I sprayed 2 cans of Lysol You could smell the mold in the hallway. They had 30+ people in the pool which only 4 people actually had a room, the others drove up and left in their cars and left their trash behind, still there the next morning. The A/C in the so called gym was broken; smelled like mold and mildrew in there. DO NOT STAY HERE
