"Sehr schönes Hotel für die warme Jahreszeit"

Das Hotel ist sehr gediegen und ruhig. Der Schwimmbereich ist sehr schön. Das Essen war die ersten 5 Tage (von 7 Tagen) sehr gut. Das Sylvestermenue war excellent. Eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre direkt am Kamin.

Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass ein (älterer) Teppich in den Zimmern verlegt ist. Für Allergiker mit Hausstauballergie war unser Zimmer nicht geeignet. Für Dezember ist der Standort ungeeignet. Es regnete ständig und es war rel. kalt. Die Küche war die letzten beiden Tage (Halbpension) nicht gut. Die Köchin hatte Urlaub. Keine Entschuldigung vom Personal oder nur mal einen Espresso für das rel. schlechte Essen.

"High up a valley with lovely grounds, the hotel is a lovely place to escape to."

Beautiful grounds and views down the valley to the water. Interesting plants. Like a mini botanical garden. Restaurant was very good and restaurant staff were friendly. Holiday decorations were festive. Wood burning fireplaces in some common areas. Cozy bar.

Front desk staff were less friendly and we had some awkward moments related to spa services. The location is a bit remote and we didn’t have a car. Uber drivers didn’t drive into the property so we had to walk out to the road for pick up. The place is more geared towards guests with vehicles.

The lady on reception is super nice and friendly. SPA area is great, pool is big and heated (around 27C), sauna is clean. Breakfast with a variety of options

Lovely hotel and staff, gardens are sublime, i would very happily return. Stayed half board, breakfast perfect for us, evening meals on the half board could be quite bland

"Nice, but not a 5-star hotel"

A beautiful hotel with a calm, relaxed atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious, private parking was available, and the breakfast was good.

This is not a 5-star hotel. Overall, the staff was not very service-oriented, and the half-board dinner was disappointing and did not match the menu that was presented.
