The Lancaster Motel

Booked because I knew the area & knew it was an authentic style reminiscent of the past.

Liked the retro feel but the place is in serious need of updates and general maintenance.

This property was pretty bare bones in terms of amenities, but it got the job done. Beds were very comfortable. We had a problem with our room the first night, but as soon as I told the staff about it they were quick to resolve the issue for us, and incredibly kind and accommodating.

There wasn’t a lot of parking due to a snow mobile event going on and the heat was busted. Had to sleep with the window open. Was explained to what happened about the heat in the morning when I dropped the key off which things happen. All around great place to stay!! Would definitely stay again!!

Owner canceled my Orbitz rez right after I made it, then accepted my direct rez over the phone for a much higher price. Then didn't notify Orbitz to refund the original rez. Avoided my phone calls for awhile, when I finally got her on the phone 10 days later refused to take responsibility. Still haven't gotten my money back from the canceled rez.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were spacious and location was great!

Just spent a long weekend here. Fabulous staff, very nice room, perfect continental breakfast, and we met so many wonderful people the entire weekend! The Lobby retro decor is perfect.

We arrived at 12:30 am and left at 6:00am so not much time spent in the room but check in was prepared for us and went smoothly. We liked the bed and the pillows were comfortable. Would stay again to enjoy the area and motel more.

They cancelled the reservation one day before without calling me even i called for confirmation. Stay away if don't want to ruin your travel plan.
