Very friendly Clean very basic needs a lot more updating no ceiling light no second night table and light no control over heating

Nice place to stay in Lancaster. The room could’ve used a few more tables to put your stuff on. But overall great spot.

Pros; hotel is cute, loved that they have laminate floors and not carpet in the rooms, all staff were very nice and kind , compass rose lounge and cigar bar were awesome, bartender was super friendly... I did not do my families laundry ..however I loved that it was an option to do so, hotel has a very cool history ....mattresses were super comfortable , breakfast was so conversation and helpful to have available Cons: there were no hooks or shelving in the bathroom which made it inconvenient to hang towels, organize toiletries, etc ..shower was super small as was the toilet area and flush handle rubbed against the wall, no drawers for clothes in the room which would have made it more helpful...we had to throw away a lot of the food we brought bc the wire in the fridge that controls the thermostat was broken so our strawberries and leftovers froze ...(room 104) We loved the retro , fun look and charm of the hotel and it was clean and super convenient that all rooms are first floor and the parking spots are right near the door of the room m.super convenient for families like us who always bring so much stuff ! We liked that they had games in the lobby ..that was fun for us with our 5 year old and we got takeout from the smoked restaurant up the street and the food was good ....we ate our takeout at the table in the lobby as there wasn't a convenient way to eat it in the room ...

Convenient and price was reasonable

updated floors, price but alot of old fixtures wall bathrooms needed updating. Our AC not working, frig leaking.

The Lancaster Motel is a great place to stay. Rooms recently renovated. Love the 1950’s-1960’s retro look in the spacious lobby. Great staff. But the best is the fully stocked bar and cigar salon that pulls in some local color. Very reasonable rates and a surprisingly island of ambience in the north country.

I used to 5 star hotel. I would not have stay here if I saw it.

This hotel is expensive for what you get. The rooms are minimal in what they provide. The is no table or desk, a very small lamp for 2 beds, a very small bathroom sink and no hair dryer. Our bathroom door would not close. We just expected more for the price. We did have a small fridge and microwave but no coffee maker in the room. There is coffee in the lobby though.
