Poor internet condition

What a gorgeous place. Not only was the staff more than friendly but the location, while slightly out of the way, is superb. But the rooms and amazing architecture is the grand hit. Do not miss this place.

Gorgeous boutique hotel, wonderful service and restaurant. Boat to take you across the Nile to the East bank included. Lovely pool, could have stayed and relaxed much longer.

The Djorff Palace was our favorite hotel in all of Egypt. The architecture is magnificent, the view of the Nile superb, and the surrounding farmland is so serene. It is an oasis away from hustle and bustle of downtown Luxor. The owners, Dr. Marina and Muhammed are both very interesting people with magnificent life stories. And they'll take great care of you. They can arrange transportation to and from Luxor airport, set you up with a guide for the Valley of the Kings, and even book a hot-air balloon ride! But you might just want to stay at the Palace and enjoy a relaxing day by the pool - with full-on English High Tea! The food and staff are excellent as well. Overall, this was the best place we stayed in all of Egypt (the Ruby Suite is amazing!)

Great hotel with a lot of charm. Beautiful grounds, lovely made to order breakfast, and away from the hustle of Luxor. Mohamed and Marina will go out of their way to ensure you are happy and enjoying your stay. They also offer a free motor boat transport from east to west bank, making it easy to get around. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Luxor.

Lots of character

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is gorgeous, very well kept and they were able to arrange all the service I needed.

Djorff Palace is fairly new & built in the traditional Egyptian style and contains all of the treasures collected by the owners, Marina and Mohammed. It is located on the West Bank, which means it’s off the beaten path. Most tourists stay East, so I worried about crossing over. The hotel has THEIR OWN BOAT and it’s always available to the guests. We very easily accessed the other side whenever we needed and it’s only minutes away. We stayed in the Opal room and everything was perfect. The terrace is enormous, but it was hot in the first week of September. We spent some time by the pool... the water was cool and so were the drinks. The AC in the room is strong and the showers are nice. Service is exceptional. From the front desk, to the restaurant servers, to the security and the boat driver, everyone was wonderful to deal with. Marina, the owner, explained a lot about the area and pointed us to something we would not have seen without her recommendation - Valley of the Monkeys. Being Americans, we are always worried about our stomachs. Every meal was delicious and clean and fairly-priced. It takes a longer to get to the airport because it’s on the West, but it didn’t bother us, considering the positives. When you’re driving up, you’ll get scared that you don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself in to. But the location is residential and quiet and peaceful. You’ll emerge from the countryside and be welcomed by a gorgeous hotel and lovely people. Not to worry.
