La Quinta by Wyndham Prattville

Prattville -Great staff! It was a pretty lobby, new floors. I had plenty of towels-no problem. Tonight at La Quinta in Effingham, I'll tell you about a BIG DIFFERENCE. AC is super powerful and it smells great here.

The room was VERY HUMID even with AC on full blast. The musty smell in the closet was awful. The shower rod was sagging which caused the curtain to fall open so water soaked the floor. Maybe the AC just was not powerful enough to take out the humidity. Sad as I always do prefer La Quinta Suites but not in Prattville. The property was conveniently located near a variety of fast food restaurants. Publix and Walmart are only about 3 mins up the road. The staff were pleasant; the facility was nice a clean.

The keycard would stop working once we returned in the side door near the pool exit.

This place is horrible first of all we were put on a floor with a bunch of dogs I almost got attack by one trying to enter my room also we had hardwood floors also their was mold in the bathroom on ceiling in shower and their was no waffles at breakfast time!!!and a terrible smell in the room

It was safe and quiet

Room smelled. First hotel I stayed in and not any carpet any where. Air conditioner did not work properly. Breakfast would have been ok if they stocked it. Ended up walking to McDonald’s. Will not stay here again

Staff was fantastic!

Great location - good dinner options within walking distance. Easy and friendly check in. We were traveling with our dog so chose this hotel based on the ease of bringing our pet along. The hotel was clean and everything functioned in our room as you would expect. The pool was clean and kids had fun swimming. Rise early for best breakfast selection - we didn’t and some items were gone but still enjoyed what was available. The only con was the mattresses felt worn out/saggy - although we all slept decent.
