Sands River Hoi An Villa

We loved everything really: the location between the beautiful beach and river. Having access to bikes for a lovely cycle through rice fields to Hoi An. And the wonderful host who could not do enough for us. Strongly recommend.

Hien was an amazing host. Her place is located 15 min by taxi from the old town, 5 min walk to the beach. The area is very quiet. The breakfast was very tasty, especially the beef noodle soup. You can borrow the bikes and explore. Hien is very helpful with recommendations such as activities, tailors and places to eat. Definitely a really good place to stay.

An oasis just outside the old town heart of Hoi An. Surrounded by beautiful beaches and a great restaurant next door, this place truly felt like home on our stay. The beach is on your doorstep and the old town a short taxi away. By far the best place we stayed in Vietnam with charming and generous hosts - we loved everything about it from the delicious breakfast to the beautiful pool. It is genuinely a special place and I urge you to give it a visit!

Nothing - it was perfect

The location was perfect! If you want a relaxed vacation, this is the location for you! 5 minutes walking from a quiet, serviced beach, with deck chairs and fresh water showers. And 10-15 minutes ride with Grab to Hoi An old town. It’s nice to sit in the backyard in the morning and evening. You can see the river flow by. The rooms are clean and linnen and bed are made each day. Owner Hien is very cute and helpful. Nice restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking. We recommend Bén Taò (Pier restaurant) and Pizza Trung chef.

We booked 2 rooms, and the drain in 1 of them is clogged, so the bathroom floor fills up quickly. Not a problem, but good to know: Breakfast soups are made with instant noodles.

The location is good, right next to the river and the beach a 10 min walk away. The service was great, with the owner being very friendly and upgraded our room. The room was so spacious and the bed was the comfiest we’ve had in Vietnam. The pool was perfect for cooling off from the heat. It was very quiet here and around the town, maybe due to the time of year but it was good for a night of relaxing after spending a few busy nights in Hoi An old town. There are a few nice restaurants along the road too. All of this for an incredibly reasonable price!

We stayed at Sands River Hoi An Villa for 8 nights as a family of four (two adults and two kids, aged 13 and 11), and honestly, we enjoyed every moment. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were always spotless—cleaned thoroughly every day. Hien, the host, was incredibly helpful and kind. She took care of arranging tours for us, recommended some really good places for dinner, and made breakfast fresh every morning at a time that worked best for us. There’s a small pool at the villa and a shaded seating area by the river. It was a great spot to relax after being out for the day. The beach—Cua Dai—is just a short walk away. It’s quieter than An Bang but still has plenty of good seafood restaurants. While the beach has dealt with erosion issues in the past, much of it has been restored. It’s not picture-perfect, but still nice. If you want something a bit more polished, with a pool bar and beachside seating, Silk Beach Club is worth checking out. Overall, Sands River Hoi An Villa was a perfect base for us. It’s great if you’re looking for a relaxed beach stay or want to explore the nearby rice fields by bike. Both Old Town and An Bang Beach are only a quick and affordable Grab ride away.

We stayed for a full week and had a great time. The beds were comfy, the food (brekkie was included for us) was delicious. Everyone is very friendly and has a wonderful energy about them. Tours and transportation were arranged for us, overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Hien the owner was such a kind lady and was so attentive. She also upgraded us to a better room and even when we extented our stay she told us we could keep the room. Everything was really clean she also did our room everyday. Recommend to stay wirh her for sure!!
