Very noisy. Kids yelling all hours of the night, running up and down the halls. Doors slamming all hours of the night. Intoxicated people hanging out in the lobby/common area being loud 230 in the morning. Needless to say, didnt sleep during our stay, even with ear plugs. Management should be monitoring things like this. When front desk staff was told about the noise they just looked at me.
Very clean and the breakfast options were delicious
The location is great for visiting the Hall of Fame. You’ll be in Cooperstown before you know it. Just be aware that if you visit outside the Memorial Day to Columbus Day high season, a lot of restaurants are closed. You are going to run into other baseball fans in the lobby so be prepared to give a complete analysis about your favorite team. The breakfast is your typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast (cinnamon rolls!) and the breakfast staff was helpful and friendly. After our first night we accidentally left the do not disturb sign on the door so they didn’t make up the room. Ok, my bad. But the second morning they just blew it off. The room was not made, we had run out of towels, and the trash was overflowing. We got fresh towels from the front desk with no apology. Normally we would leave a tip for the housekeepers but we got no service so we didn’t think a tip was warranted. More concerning is that an employee let himself in without knocking at 8:00 am. Unless there is an emergency, there is NO EXCUSE for entering an occupied room without knocking. Why would any hotel employee even think that is appropriate?

Excellent service and cleanliness
This was an excellent day, excellent hotel, very clean and nice people. If there are only two small things to mention it is, there are no safes in the room, and the windows were a little dated. But it made no difference and it was great. The area is very convenient to the baseball Hall of Fame. Great restaurants, all around and nice shopping.
