Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Marion

Polite check-in and they worked hard to find a room ready since the mobile check-in doesn't work on this property. Good sized room but needs major improvement. The beds were comfy and water plentiful and hot when needed. But, furniture is beat up and the bathroom tub is very worn and the stopper broken. There is a train track nearby and heard early morning before sunrise. Lots of food choices nearby and walkable although the major traffic intersection doesn't have any pedestrian crosswalks.

Staff was very friendly. Lobby was newer than the rooms. Although the room was very clean and spacious it could be updated. We had a King bed suite. Bed was very hard. My husband liked it. I didn't. We would definitely stay there again!

The property is older and in need of updating. The night we stayed, the other guests were very loud. Room smelled dingy and damp. This was the only hotel with rooms available in the area and I now know why.

It was filthy. King Suite for $245 1 night and the toilet was dirty, things in the fridge and coffee nook was filthy

All around nice hotel.

We requested cleaning service for 3 days. Finally received it and they restocked the room with 1 clean towel. How we regret not staying at the Drury next door but we thought we would give the Fairfield a try. What a mistake!!! The staff practicality ignores you like your not there. The breakfast OMG. Just looking at the oatmeal that has been warmed up for looks like a week crusted all around the edges and looks like Elmer’s glue. The don’t restock anything. They were out of the blue berry yogurt the second day and had only a child’s kind. And so funny on day 4 they spaced them out in the fridge to make it look like they had more. To be so new it really looks rundown. On checkout the front desk person was talking to someone outside so we had to wait and when they did come in they smelled like a dispensary for MJ. What a send off. Avoid this place at all cost. The only good thing was a nice young man room attendant that actually had a good attitude and conversation.

Nice, comfortable hotel. 24 hour coffee in the lobby. A bit disappointing because the pool was closed

Standard Fairfield, great location to walk to multiple restaurants. Standard free breakfast, and the pool is closed if that matters to you. Room was clean, and the staff did their jobs as expected.
