Being in the mountains

They started LOUD construction (metal on metal) right outside our window at 7 am.

The breakfast was amazing, but be prepared for a wait. The staff was good. The room wasn't special, but it was clean. Obviously, an older facility. Shower was fantastic. The pool facility looked fun, and that's where the hot tub was located. More of a family scene than a couple's scene.

The construction was an eyesore, but not noisy. The parking wasn't very convenient and if you have any mobility issues, be prepared to use the valet. I think this could be explained better in the Booking.com description.

The dinner at the lodge was good especially, the steak. The staff was great!

It's that time of year but there were flies in the restaurant. The toilets were really high.

We had an incredible stay here for a recent trail race event. The accommodations were fantastic and can’t speak highly enough on the location and amenities. Staff were super kind and always helpful.
