It felt like the staff was trying to upsell their rooms. Went to check in about an hour early, they said it wouldn't be ready, but I could pay more for a lake view room and get in now...annoying. Just give me the room if you aren't at fill capacity.

Perfect location for taking the ferry to Mackinac Island. We also enjoyed the little sand beach behind the hotel and we could walk to restaurants.

The hotel was rather old...our room felt dark. Finding our way around (i.e. elevator) was a challenge.

The location is convenient- just 15 minutes walk from Mackinaw City ferry and all the local restaurants.

The room was dirty and dusty, the room and the hotel had an unpleasant smell, the amenities are outdated and visibly falling apart, the front desk staff seemed tired of all the incoming visitors.

The mattress was very uncomfortable, I would've been better off sleeping on the floor. The pool was was so full of chemicals it burned my eyes and tarnished my jewlery. After getting out of the pool I saw a very small sign talking about tarnishing jewelry, it should've been bigger and on the door going into the pool room.

Needs a facelift. Eggs at breakfast were horrible. Didn’t taste real. Little depressing. Shower has slow drain.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were nice and clean, location was walking distance to shopping, restaurants and ferry.
