Poor handling of parking issue – very disappointing! I stayed at this hotel on 20/09/2025 (booking under Sigita Murniece). Unfortunately, my experience after the stay has been extremely disappointing. At check-in, I was not informed that I needed to register my vehicle. As a result, I received a £60 parking charge despite being a paying guest. I contacted the hotel immediately and was assured by a staff member over the phone that the issue would be “sorted” with the parking company. Based on this, I trusted the hotel and took no further action. However, nothing was done, and the charge increased to £140, which I was forced to pay. I have since contacted the hotel and management multiple times and received no positive response. This situation could have been easily avoided if proper information was given at check-in or if staff had followed through on their assurance. Instead, I have been left out of pocket due to poor communication and lack of responsibility. Very disappointing experience. I am now having to consider further action to recover my losses.

Easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was good, great yoghurt!!

Nothing to say here, its not the Ritz but is perfect for a working week, good rooms, great staff and price is right for what you get, I've stayed there many times of the last 15 years
