La Copa Inn Beach Hotel

Plenty of accommodating staff. Kept everything clean and tidy. Hard to do at a beach hotel. Breakfast was very good. Great way to start the day. Good coffee. And served from 7 to 10, very generous. Its definately a family hotel. So no loud parties. Comfortable beds and pillows and linens.. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water

Arrived and phone didn't work. Toliet was stopped up and it took 3 times to get it running OK. The lavatory sink was a slow drain. But I was kinda over it by then and did not call. They do NOT have ANY movie/ premium channels on the TV that had 2 red stripes running down the center of the screen. Its a stretch to say they have cable. The pool was JAMMED with people kids and noise and my dog was NOT allowed in pool area! There were dogs over 25lbs. I saw and heard them The dog area for walking them to take care of peeing and eliminating was a triangle of grass the size of a queen bed. It was a joke. I had called to confirm policy of leaving dog in the room. Only left when we are at breakfast.. I was told a crate wasn't necessary. I get there and it was necessary! We had to pay to park every night. It was not included or rolled into rental of room!!. When all totaled up it was well over 200.00 a night. Not including BOOKINGS % Our room faced another hotel!! Certainly not beachfront. And the balcony wasn't big enough to change your mind. So many discrepancies between what the web site said and what actually IS. I was expecting a bit more " lush" for that price!! And then there was ..I am thinking a family above us. We were on 3rd floor.. All rooms have tile floors no carpet. The kids or adults were performing gymnastics every day. I priced other hotels and understand this is a destination situation. And 200.00 is pretty average. So we went and looked at a few for the next trip. I don't feel I had value for my money. There were issues.

Loved everything! Breakfast and clean restrooms are my favorite.

There were some kids running wild on the 4th floor til like 1am, tried calling front desk and phone was broken. Called from my cell phone and they took care of it thankfully , the kids at least.
