Rodeway Inn Encinitas North

Room was nice and comfortable. They are in the process of updating and there is a big difference in the rooms that have been updated and the areas still in need.

Location and price

Lots of construction happening at the hotel and on the street in front of it. When booking i did not see mention of either. When i checked in tired after a long day of work saw all the trucks and pallets of materials in their lot. Hot water in the room did not work due to construction shutoffs .

Convenient to my seminar. My fourth stay. My first stay in a room yet to be remodeled. I love the improvements in the updated rooms.

A shrub near the driveway obstructs the view of traffic to leave. (I have a small, low car.) Front building (unremodeled) is a lot noisier in the evening from the back door neighbors than the back building. This may improve with the remodeling.

A/C took forever to turn on. Hair dryer didn't work. Minimal toiletries
