Hotel Ajanta

We stay at Hotel Ajanta nearly 4 times a year. This is because of location, restaurant staff and food, other staff, rooms are clean and efforts made to appoint them well. Big reason is due to Gunjan, who manages with awareness and cordiality.

A value for money experience... overall service was very good. A very accommodating staff who tried to ensure we were satisfied... thank you especially to Abhay.

Needs better maintenance. Shower cubicle does not have food or shower curtain so the whole bathroom gets flooded after a shower. Fixtures are old and need to be replaced. Rather congested area. Lots of eateries around. Rly station is ver close. A big plus point is their airport pick up service which is free except a fee for parking charges. There is a in house restaurant which we did not try. OK as a transit hotel.

The food was outstanding. The tourist services was outstanding in booking an excellent tour to Agra and Jaipur. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

We loved this hotel, greta location and most of all the staff made us so welcome. Especially Hari , and Amman very helpful staff I would recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel has lot of old world charm but it is in dire need of upgrade. The bathroom in our room was dated. We had booked a superior room, the best available. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Room service was prompt. The complimentary breakfast was not the best. The food was cold and the staff did not look too happy to serve. I did get an omelette made which was good.

I booked the the hotel for my inlaws who are senior citizens. I was horrified to know that the hot water supply in the washroom was not available in the morning.Remember that December is very cold in Delhi,India.The reception informed that their water heating system not working and it would take a couple of days to get it repaired.After my inlaws made lot of noise they were provided with four buckets of water which probably was heated in the hotel kitchen.Pathetic!

Nive hotel good staff, i have an experience when forget my wallet in front office, they save it for me and thats what i have to apreciate more.... but i want to give any suggestion, this hotel better provide some tools for packing a luggage as we know paharganj is a backpacker area so maybe all the backpacker needs that facility....

Nice hotel near new Delhi station walking distance

I was in impression that airport drop off is complementary. As I came to the hotel via train, I asked hotel to pickup from railway station which is about 2km away. I asked hotel to take money for train station pickup and provide complementary airport drop off but they denied, which I think was unfair. Also I wonder if breakfast was included in our booking or not?
