Hotel Ajanta

Hotel was clean and basic which was great for the price. Only downside was we all got bit by bed bugs. The duvets were stored in a cupboard and I don't know if it was that or the pillows.

Nice hotel close to train station and main market is withen walking distance. Food was okay sometimes the water pressure in the shower will decrease but not an issue. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. I did few toll calls but the reception did not charge any money. Will come back again.

Staff has an attitude. Restaurant is too small for the no of rooms. We had breakfast standing. No windows in maximum rooms.

Room was small ,no ventilation or fresh air In the room my booking was included breakfast & dinner but hotel was refused to Provide food but we paid in the booking pl. check your record

Great location, staff and restaurant. THe hotel offered a free airport pick up which was great. I opted for room plus breakfast and dinner which was great as it saved me having to look for somewhere to eat each night. Food choice was great with excellant service. The hotel owns the coffeee shop opposite which was great for a afternoon coffee and cake if required. The location is great if you are planning an onward journey by train as it is on minuted from the train station. A small complaint was a leak in the toilet area, which they did attempt to resolve by putting sealer on the base of the toilet bowl, however i later discovered that the problem was the overflow which i resolved myself.

Room was very dirty, dust on floors, dirty bedsheets. Room has no window. No shampoo/ shower gel. Extra charge for drinking water.

FOOD WAS VERY GOOD . STAFF WAS VERY GOOD . Rooms were not spacious . Beds are very small . Ac's do not work properly .

Pictures very misleading . Room was very basic and bathroom was a disaster . Toilet flushes continuously . Bath towels were years old - fraying . Will not recommend .

The staff are great and it's lovely reasonably priced place

By Delhi standards, this place seems pretty comparable to the competition. Room was pretty dumpy, but location is convenient if you're coming in to the main railway station. Wifi did not work in the rooms, only the lobby. The restaurant is quite nice however, and breakfasts were good. Staff ranges from indifferent to genuinely helpful, with one or two hucksters thrown in. Expedia needs to include a "maybe" option for whether or not I would recommend this hotel. You should shop and compare.
