"Easy to find, value for money"

Small room with big bed, bathroom more than adequate. Very good value for money. Only complaint- a noisy disco that went on well past 3.30 in the morning, but not the fault of the hotel.

"What's not to like?"

Friendly and helpful staff; good location for both town centre and beach; good breakfast; lively bar (on the Saturday night we were there anyway); free street parking; nice clean room with a good shower. Couldn't ask for more for the price - would stay there again.

"Functional hotel in town centre"

Car park was full but receptionist helpfully directed us to nearby on street parking that was free. Room was very compact but clean with extra pillows available and good shower. Not aesthetically pleasing but functional hotel in town centre

"Great location"

Great hotel close to the beech, harbour and city centre. Firstly the hotel. Great location and a good basic hotel with the only down side is that the hotel smelt a bit musty in locations and also being very picky no tea and coffee facilities in the room. If you want a good basic clean hotel in good location then this is a real contender.

"Good hotel in need of modernising"

The hotel staff were helpful and really good food and dining area was okay. The hotel tries to be bright colours and fresh but I thought this was okay but the hallways up to my room on floor 4 smelt damp and not clean. This seems to be an old building but was OK to stay in for the one night we needed.

"Not Free Parking!"

Despite Expedia confirming there was free parking, the hotel said there wasn't. They said free parking is on the street round the corner. Given this was the only reason I booked the hotel, to accommodate my disabled mother, this was very dissapointing.

"A rabbit warren"

served its purpose but the hotel layout was nothing better than a maze. Heaven forbid a fire.Very noisy. Excellent shower arrangement.
