Motel 6-Gilman, IL

If I could define disgusting it would be this motel 6. They say you get what you pay for, not here. Absolutely the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty, missing covers on electrical outlets, stains on blankets, tub didn’t drain in shower, smoke detector unplugged. The worst of the worst.

Quiet and very friendly staff

Too far out from where I needed to be

That I could bring my dogs inside for the night.

The bed was rock hard I have a bad back so it's not their fault to be honest.

Good place for a quick overnight stop off

The man at the front desk is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms themselves are okay for the price, but definitely need repairs. My room had two lights that didn't work as well as the vanity outlet, and I had to fix the toilet that kept running. I like that the floors are not carpeted and the rooms don't smell musty like so many other hotels.
