Quinta Real Huatulco

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location, beach area, pool, and the excellent view of the bay. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Food was incosistent and overpriced. In terms of the facilities the wifi was nul in our room and in some of the public areas. Tv signal was intermitent and did not have any entertainment chanels in English besides news from CNN. The Hotel has seen its best glorious days and it is in serious need of repairs and renovations. Once upon at time you can imagine by the decor and design that this hotel was the place in town. Price wise the cost per night and food is not justifiable. However malgre some of the inconveniences wr really enjoyed the peace and the beauty of the surroundigs an our balcony. Now that we know what to expect we hope to visit again but with a different plan.

The hotel is very lovely. The views are magnificent. The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. The staff was always quick to attend to our needs.

Some rooms have better views than others, but I doubt they cost more. Room 120 has only a partial view of the ocean, but a terrific view of some vegetation and the carreterra nearby. I could hear traffic from our balcony. That was disappointing.

Service Cleanliness was awesome

My sister and I stayed at Quinta Real in February. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Gabriela kindly offered me an upgrade to my room, and helped with reservations to great restaurants. Juan was also helpful, always pitching in with a ride or luggage or recommendations on snorkeling. The thing about Quinta Real is that it is very private, and whether it is the beach or the pool or breakfast, it is easy to get very attentive service. If I had one suggestion, it would be to turn off the music at the reception desk. The sound of the water is enough and the view is spectacular.

We loved our stay at Quinta Real, the hotel offers a very welcoming experience in a secluded location. The Suites with private pool terraces are just great with a lovely view over the jungle and the bay. Quite some stairs to the private beach, because of the hilltop location, but it's just a 3-4 Minute Walk and Car service is also offered. Definitely worth to stay here!

Will stay again

Great location, welcoming, good vibes, can't ask for much more. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable, the plunge pool a nice treat. Loved the pool and the beach. Grounds were spectacular. Service was exceptional and staff very helpful. Helps to have a bit of Spanish, not a problem. Breakfast was excellent as were the lunches by the pool. Dinner menu failed to meet expectation, could use some improvement. Otherwise a great place to spend a relaxing vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta Real. The location, the rooms, ocean and pool are excellent. Very quiet and peaceful. The only negative would be that it definitely has reached the age where it needs some major refurbishment. Mostly the exterior areas. There is a lot of cracking in the sidewalks, rotting of planks and posts along the walk ways. For that reason the resort is a little overpriced. The restaurant was excellent but again overpriced. With the numerous restaurant options in Huatulco that have excellent food at half the price it is hard to justify eating at the hotel anymore than we did. We did have a very peaceful 8 nights on excellent beds and surrounded by beauty.

Proximity to the beach and the view from our suite was beautiful. We will definitely be back! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food in the restaurant. The traditional Oaxacan dishes were delicious and the lava cake was to die for. Quinta Real is like a boutique resort with very few people at the pool or beach ! The ocean was heavenly to swim in.
