GBB&B Nieuwhof is well located and a short distance from the main road so for us it was great as an overnight stop on our return to the UK from the Netherlands. However the setting is peaceful and would make an excellent base for a cycling or walking break in Belgium as well as being close to the various cities. Although our bedoom was the 'standard', it was large with a sitting area and large French doors overlooking open countryside. Complimentary coffee and tea are available at all times in the breakfast area where there is also a drinks fridge with alcoholic and soft drinks which are available at a small extra cost. We have an electric vehicle and we were able to charge this overnight in the parking area (by previous arrangement) at a very reasonable rate which meant that we could drive back to the UK the next day without having to worry about charging at Calais. Linda was an excellent host and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a continental selection of pastries, bread, cheeses and meats, fruit and yoghurt - eggs were available (laid by the resident chickens) but we had already had plenty!
It was all excellent - there wasn't anything not to like and we will certainly be recommending to family and friends.
DELiked all of it and appreciate the great service of Linda and her husband! If there is any opportunity looking for a hotel in that region I would love to come back.
GBGBNieuhof is a lovely, spacious B & B. The rooms and the breakfast area are spotless and the beds have to be the best I've slept in, in my 15 years of visiting the area. Care parking is safe and secure and there is even an EV charger if required. I would happily recommend spending time at Nieuhof.

NOLarge and beautiful room. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely breakfast. Great selection of drinks and snacks to buy. Good area to walk the dog. Short distance to lots of interesting places both along the coast and inland.

UAWe had flight problems and it was very important for us to check in early. Linda did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and accommodated.
GBThe breakfast was a continental breakfast and was very good. The rooms are modern and large with very roomy en suite with bath and seperate shower cubicle. The rooms are very easy accessable, all on the ground floor. great views of open countryside from the room. A perfect stay if you want peace and quiet.
The only thing that was not my preference was that it was two singles pushed together and not a double bed
