Clean. Friendly reception

The hotel was faultless! I’d certainly go there again. There did seem to be a few unsavory looking characters hanging around the area at nighttime. But my Classic car, which was parked next to the hotel, for two days was perfectly safe.

The room was in need of some repainting. The outside of the shower base was dirty and in need of cleaning. The roof of the shower was falling in. The mechanism for keeping the water in the sink was broken. Finally, and more alarming, there was mould down one corner of the room, probably caused by a leaky roof. The legs of the fan were not properly attached, making it unstable.

All of the above.

This was a very convenient and adequate place to stay one night between arriving on the train and picking up a rental car in the morning.

Breakfast was expensive for the choice offered.

Right across from Angoulême station, flat surfaces for luggage was perfect!

Nothing at all, it was a great stay. !
