Dejligt sted med god morgenmad og meget god service. Fantastisk søde medarbejdere.

Stranden; bortset fra at det var det rene cirkus med alt for meget gøgl. HVOR er det ærgerligt at man ødelægger den ellers fine strand på den måde!

Hotellet var fyldt med russere, booking burde oplyse at hotellet er russer venligt!

It has taken a while to write this as correspondence as the stress was significant. We are Best Western Rewards customers who stay at the hotels in the UK because we know them to be comfortable, with good leisure facilities and have reasonable standards. So when we decided to include Phuket in Thailand as part of our 70th birthday celebration holiday, we booked Best Western Bangtao Beach 8-13 November 2025. We are aware that this is a franchise, but thought it would be a safe bet. We decided only to eat at the hotel itself (breakfast was included in the price and we ate dinner in their beach view restaurant), to avoid any stomach issues. On our third early evening, we fell violently ill. Neither of us had ever experienced anything like it in our lives. We asked Reception to call a doctor, which they did, but no questions were asked as to how we were. He came from the hospital with a nurse, they examined us and prescribed strong medication (the ones they give for E-Coli) in order for us to be able to fly home after our 8 nights. We were completely wiped out and effectively spent the remainder of our holiday unable to eat, staying in our room for the remainder. The doctor's report states it was a bacterial infection caused by contaminated food or drink. We have kept this document. Sadly, there were also a list of other complaints, none of which were addressed in any of the correspondence with Best Western. 1. Our room was up a steep flight of stairs with no lift. I am 72, my husband 70 ( we were there for his birthday). We saw several elderly people struggling. 2. The ‘gym’ comprised two treadmills, a cycle and some dumbbells/kettle bells in a tiny, confined space where using free weights could be dangerous 3. The ‘spa’ of a sauna and steam room were not included and we were asked to pay additional costs, despite no warning of this in website. Additionally, the steam room was broken for the duration of our stay despite us reporting it twice 4. The state of our bathroom following our illness was never fully cleaned. I did what I could before the cleaner came, but did not have the equipment to do so properly. The floor needed far more thorough cleansing. 5. Despite Reception calling the doctor on our request, when we checked out not one person asked if we were feeling better of had enjoyed our stay. In fact, they send someone to check you haven't used the minibar before you leave, then come and tell you it’s fine and you may go!!!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful hotel as I said in the title faultless. Location, rooms, staff and food were all amazing 👏 Would love to come back, highly recommend 👌

Lage ist top.....auch das Frühstück war super

Emplacement idéal directement sur la plage au calme. Loin des beach club. Idéal en famille. Les chambres familiales sont très adaptées pour 4 personnes malgré qu’il n’y ait qu’une salle de bain et toilette. Buffet petit déjeuner très complet et de qualité Nous n’avons pas déjeuner au club le midi et le soir. Plein de restaurant au tour accessible à pied ou taxi.

Une légère vétustée des chambres mais rien de bien grave.

Sam hotel w porządku - raczej resortowy, jeśli ktoś lubi poleżeć na plaży czy basenie i odpocząć. Śniadanie smaczne, bardzo europejskie, ale są też opcje tajskich potraw - każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Basen czysty, zawsze znajdzie się wolny leżak. Ceny w hotelu przyzwoite. Personel sympatyczny, pomocny. Poprosiliśmy o zmianę pokoju z powodu bardzo głośnej pompy w nocy i nie było żadnego problemu. Bardzo ładny ogród w części z domkami.

Pokoje bardzo ciemne, trzeba przez cały dzień mieć zapalone światło. Połowa gniazdek w pokoju nie działa. Na basenie w "strefie rodzinnej" dozwolone jest palenie papierosów, nikt na to nie zwraca uwagi i zdarza się że po prostu śmierdzi dymem. Kawa na śniadaniu nie jest zbyt dobra. Lokalizacja nie jest najlepsza - niby w okolicy jest sporo knajpek, ale ceny są raczej wysokie, a jakość średnia w porównaniu z innymi miejscami w Tajlandii. Daleko do portu - jeśli ktoś planuje zwiedzanie to sporo czasu traci się na transfery. Plaża ok, ale nie zachwyciła mnie.

This is our fifth time staying at this hotel. We've always enjoyed the wonderful stay and service. I'd like to thank the entire hotel staff for their wonderful work. I'd especially like to thank Tees Tikya Paglikawan, the receptionist. Thanks to her, our vacation was active and incredibly enjoyable. She's a true professional in her field. I hope to return again.

Loved our 4th floor room which was very spacious with a huge bed kept very clean by our friendly housekeeper.Great views from windows and balcony of the pool and beach.A pleasure to sit on the balcony relaxing.Bathroom was excellent with a great shower and plenty of shelving to put toiletries on.Only room improvement would be a higher cupboard to place my clothes in as I had to kneel on the floor to use the cupboard under the TV.Most of the shelving in the wardrobe was too high. Breakfast was excellent great choice of everything.Rest of hotel food around the pool and the beachfront restaurant was very tasty.Wish there had been a beach bar to enjoy drinks with a view as well as the round pool bar. The pools were kept very clean with plenty of sunbeds and shades for all.Brilliant not to allow towels reserving the sunbeds before 09.30 unless you were using them as this stops the night owls hogging the beds when they return back to the hotel for the following day. Normally we prefer to sit by the beach but it was so shady until late afternoon that we sat by the pool which also had a lot of shade but we usually had mornings in the sun. Hotel position was right in the town with a 7/11 across the road which we used daily.Ate out at the many restaurants and enjoyed all the shops in the town. Will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
