Our room was lovely, very spacious, very clean with smart,modern decor. Our request at booking, re my husband's difficulty with walking was acknowledged and provided. I loved the main house of the hotel ,it was full of character and interest. The grounds were lovely to walk around and the peacocks were so beautiful to watch as they roamed around. Dinner was delicious and breakfast too. High quality food and presentation in a beautiful dining room. Above all, the service was excellent and staff only too ready to help make your stay a very enjoyable and relaxing one. We certainly plan to return there to stay a little longer.

We were upgraded to a Suite on arrival, which was v kind of them. My wife and I were there for our 10th wedding anniversary so we received a v lovely card, signed by all the staff and a complimentary glass of bubbly at dinner!

The pheasants were a lovely addition but boy are they noisy! A small quibble.

"Nice place to stayover visiting family"

Exactly what we expected, an historic style main building with new annexes attached. Room was spacious and parking was adequate for the volume of guests. We had bar food as Dining room full, but it was good and very good breakfast. Staff were generally very good.

A little tired is some respects and pool was not well monitored. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
