Great place to stay

What a little gem of a find. In the most prettiest village/town I have ever visited in the USA. Wonderful staff, rooms were spacious, modern, clean and great value. A short stroll down to the gorgeous beach. Special treat in the afternoon between 4pm - 5.30pm wine and nibbles. Free coffee and tea all day, along with sodas. A must stay if in the area.

Beautifully restored building, wonderful neighbourhood, I would move there tomorrow if I could. Close to local amenities, just a wonderful little gem.

I absolutely loved this hotel, my only feedback was our room, was a little noisy from the restaurant.

The property was beautiful, the room was airy and welcoming.

The road was noisy, the windows were obviously the originals so no soundproofing.

Gosby House is a really lovely period property in Pacific Grove and close to Carmel and Monterey. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. A fantastic breakfast including a different savoury and sweet option every day is included in the price, as is a daily wine and cheese buffet every day at 4 pm. There is the use of two bikes with no charge, though there is a 3 hour limit on how long you can have them, but this is more than enough time to use the excellent coastal cycle path to Monterey and beyond. Location is good with a range of restaurants close by, or 5-10 mins by car into Monterey.

There is limited on-street parking close to the hotel with a limit of 2 hours between 9 and 6, Monday to Saturday. There is a car park a block away, but can only park there for 3 hours maximum between 9 and 6, Monday to Saturday. As it is an old building, we weren't aware of a lift to the upper floor.

Beautiful property in convenient location. Afternoon snacks and wine were a great touch.

Room on ground floor was a little noisy in the mornings while breakfast was being served.

Gorgeous property! Friendly staff, complimentary wine/snacks in the evening, plus breakfast the next morning. The area is walkable and beautiful.
