Gosby House Inn, A Four Sisters Inn

It was lovely to spend the Christmas season in such a beautiful, historic location. Staff is friendly and helpful, and even though there was a huge power failure affecting the entire area, staff made sure everyone received breakfast in a timely and tasty manner, and were available for any extra help needed.

Not a thing! I am sure that we will stay at this lovely facility again in the future. Hopefully, our next visit won't occur during such a widespread power outage.

Wonderful property and excellent location in Pacific Grove. Beautifully furnished and decorated for the holidays. Delicious cooked breakfast, different each morning. Our room (the Elmarie) was on the first floor with good access for those who don’t do narrow staircases. It is one of the smaller rooms, but had everything we needed. We were there during some major winter storms that knocked out power to the Monterey Peninsula for days, but power was back on by 9pm on the day we checked in, so it was not a big problem.

Fantastic location

This is a nice property, part of a chain of elite properties that are not inexpensive. We did not appreciate several couples attending breakfast in pajamas, robes and slippers. The property needs to establish a dress code for breakfast.

Serene atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent location

We didn’t know much about room options during booking, our room on the first floor was really noisy, both from staff moving around, other guests and people going through the hallway.

Authentic and friendly place in the heart of Pacific Heights. Historic feel. Good breakfast.
