Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge

Clean and modern

My parents and I had a pleasant stay at Marriott Burr Ridge. The main focal points for us were the pool, whirlpool, and gym. The environmental services / daily housekeeping did an exceptional job. We mostly just needed fresh towels and some tea to which they would happily provide for us. Check-in was a breeze, Jason is professional and friendly. We were most grateful for the ability to check-in earlier due to an early flight. It felt relaxing to utilize the amenities and de-stress after a flight with the gym and pool. The terrace area by the pool was peaceful as well, the sun and temperature was warm to which we were able to lay out and catch some rays. The only suggestion I have would be to add a filtered refillable water station, maybe on each floor(?). I didn’t want to bother the bar with requesting them to fill my water bottle but at least the gym had some filtered water to which was very useful. Overall I loved our stay at the Mariott. Clean, comfortable, close proximity to many places on our trip, walking trails, ample amount of trolleys to tote your luggage, shopping center close by..I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work!

Customer service was great !!!!!!!! The room is very clean. I did an inspection. The room is very clean. I personally did an inspection with my UV light and spy camera everything checked out wonderfully Next time I visit Chicago I will revisit again

Beautiful hotel, and great service all around. All staff have been very friendly and comfortable quiet and peaceful rooms. Great area too! New unique area that I was not familiar with but way better than the hustle and bustle of downtown and beautiful, but simple hotel.

Beautiful patio and great bartender. The comforter on the bed gave "moldy clump" vibes. Grossed me out. Did ask and staff said its normal even in new blankets and confirmed I can request a feather free room.

Lousy management. My wife and I stayed here Friday and Saturday nights. We paid in Marriott points. There was a wedding on Saturday and they put us on the same floor as the wedding party. Friday was fine but Saturday night was very loud and the party carried on all night. We had a 9am flight and got no sleep at all. The elevators were trashed with food and garbage. It looked like the Budget Inn. I called to complain but nothing was done. At checkout I politely told the front desk clerk that they should refund half of my points because of the noise all Saturday night. He said he’d have to ask his manager. I haven’t received a refund yet. Don’t stay here folks. The manager doesn’t care about you. It’s also way overpriced and not worth it. There are many other hotel choices in the area. I’ll certainly never come back to this poorly run joint.

I was there for two days and nights for my fiftieth reunion. The hotel staff was excellent, as was the food and ambience. The rooms were spacious and clean. However, to my surprise, there were no dresser drawers in the king suites, nor was there a safe. I expected different from a Marriott property, but that didn't negatively affect my stay. I would stay at this facility again.
