"Wonderful hotel!"

Perfect location and walkable to attractions and restaurants. The view was beautiful and the rooftop was great!

We stayed on the second floor right above the restaurant. The noise from the restaurant made it impossible so sleep.

"In short.. there was no stay. My reservation was cancelled 1 hr before check in with NO explanation."

There was nothing to like about this dump. Horrible accommodations; terrible customer service… she was completely uninterested in my valid complaint. I was treated with disrespect right from the very initial conversation.

The terrible customer service department who had everything but the customer in mind.. which means it was all about the money and nothing to do with an actual customer. Terrible job!

The location

No parking. Over crowed with parking. Was told at check in might now find n spot! I paid for room i should have a parking spot for My car. Was charged more upon check in then booking.com that I already pre- paid. No room service that cleaned the room. Had to call for clean linens n towels

"Bad Experience"

Upon entering the room... 1. Laminate was torn off the kitchen cabinets 2. Ceiling vent in shower was caked with dust 3. Carpet in front of couch had large stain 4. Of the 2 windows in the room, one was broken and wouldn't open 5. Larger of the 2 curtains had a large, brownish stain on it 6. Owners lounge was closed for the week 7. Painting of hallway began the end of our week 8. Went to front desk with pictures of problems with room accommodations and was told by Thomas that they knew about the problems. I asked for a change of room and was told that they were booked. I was given a card with Joe Lasario's name on it. I called and there wasn't an answer or a voicemail set up. This was Saturday, Apr. 27th. 9. There are 56 rooms but only 51 parking spaces. You could park across the street, $10-20 during the daytime, $40 overnight, and would be reimbursed with receipt. During the day, the parking lot only accepted cash. On the Monday, Apr. 29th, 5 parking spaces were taken up with dumpsters, for renovations. 10. On Sunday, Apr. 28th, while sitting having coffee, at 7:51 a.m., I heard a loud bang. I went to check and the shampoo dispenser had fallen off the wall in the shower. I called the maintenance office, a woman answered. I explained that the shampoo dispenser fell off the wall. After a while, a new bottle of shampoo with sent to the room. I then sent a text message to the main desk explaining the situation and requesting some sort of fix. The maintenance person, Brad, came and reapplied the shampoo, which fell within a few minutes. He left to get a new setup for reapplying the dispenser and took the new bottle of shampoo. He came back, stepped into the shower with his shoes on, reapplied the shampoo dispenser, and waited 30 mins. to make sure the shampoo dispenser didn't fall off the wall again. Unfortunately, I had to clean up his footprints in the shower and the bathroom floor...sanitize it. 11. You enter the room right into the bedroom. It's not a problem as long as your neighbors aren't slamming doors at 5:15 a.m. It woke me up out of a sound sleep. And it continued for 8 times.

"Disappointing"

Club Wyndham on the Harbor in Newport RI is one of the worst Wyndhams we have stayed at. The layout is weird with the bedroom located at the door leading out into the hallway. Galley kitchenette, no dishwasher and limited cooking facilities, minimal space for preparation of any type of meal. The living/dining area is cramped and not conducive to relaxing. The unit was dirty. Bathroom shower was disgusting. The location is close to shopping, restaurants. You have to go through an underground parking lot to enter and exit the property. Wyndham has other beautiful well kept properties in Newport we have stayed in over many years. We love the area and have family near by. Definitely will not ever be back to the Inn on the Harbor.
