Hôtel Porte de Genève

Very nice hotel who fully lived up to what we had expected. The breakfast was good, the kitchen was good - however it would be nice if it was open in weekends to. The price level where reasonable - so we will recommend the hotel if you look for a cheap hotel :-)

Easy to find, helpful staff, quaint room

The bedding were nice, comfortable. One of the room that we stay was having a smell, like wc canal. The location was nice.

Mold everywhere. Very old and gross. Would not stay there again.

Nice reception staff, miserable manager not helpful. Charge me fees when I stay here all the time with sometimes 4-5 rooms at a time. Money grabbers not fair service.

We had room next to a high voltage room .A constant noise can be heard in this room sounds like a plane taking off especially during the night . We have asked the guy from reception to change the room , he looked very unaware of this noise . He has offered us an extra charge room but we refused. He made a phone call and arranged for a change. New room had no towels , we have asked the guy from reception but he told us that new room should have towels. He said he will arrange for later. He finish his shift and no towels. We have asked the lady from next shift and she brought us towels in 2 minutes. You have to be aware of bathrooms , they have mould as there is no ventilation. Also the source of heating is air conditioning which also can be noisy. Breakfast ok .

The room was small but very comfortable. There was a door leading out to a garden, where it was lovely to walk, and nice to let in fresh air. Our room had a kettle, and supplies to make coffee. Breakfast was lavish, including Brie cheese, a first on this trip, and delicious. Moreover, the staff were super helpful. We were trying to save money on meals, so went to the local Co-Op, and bought cold meat, cheese, and salad, and fresh fruit & cream for our 2 days. The hotel loaned us plates, bowls, and cutlery, and put our small cooler (with the extra food for the second night) in the hotel fridge. Highly recommended.

We wanted to rent a hotel room in Geneva but the prices were too expensive, so we decided to stay a bit further. The hotel is 25 min from downtown Geneva It's clean, comfy, nice, great shower. Restaurant good and breakfast simple Would come back

The rooms were perfect for our family and affordable. Delicious breakfast for a good price

Not happy with this hotel. The condition of the room we stayed in was cramped and the floor could seriously do a good vacuum cleaning.
