Prestige Inn Nelson

There wasn't much to like about the room, it was a micro room that would be small for a single person, no table or shelf to set stuff on only a tray on the microwave sitting on top of the fridge with the coffee perk and 2 cups on top. 5 steps from the doorway up into the room. A sliding door into the bathroom that kept sliding open, no closet, some coat hooks on then hallway, beside the stair well, very disapointing.

Everything could be better, a small shelf for your personal things would be nice.

Einfaches Hotel für eine Nacht ausreichend! Eigener Parkplatz kostenfrei. Ca 15 Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt

Direkt an der Bahnschiene nicht viele Züge aber die sehr laut

Location was excellent, walking distance to shopping mall with grocery store Save On Foods. Also short walk to a second grocery store Safeway and government liquor store. Nice having coffeemaker, microwave and small fridge. Was very nice that they upgraded me to a balcony king room. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony taking in the view of the park and water.

There is a train that passes by behind the hotel a couple times. Was not a problem for me but could be for others. They did provide ear plugs in the room, which was nice if you needed.

Staff were very pleasant -Room nice and spacious - Kitchenette area had cookingtop , microwave and fridge. View was nice, and you can sit out on the Balacony while you watch the tram, and boats go by!

Something you can't really fix is the how close the front parking lot is to the busy road; trying to get in or out, sometimes needs a little patience. Parking in the back is better, and if the hotel's financial budget allowed it, I'd say buy the small vacant gravel lot behind the hotel for parking (unless that's already designated for something like overflow parking for Lakeside Park).
