Beds were nice

Nickle and dimed everywhere.

When i got there the staff was so nice but one of the rooms sink didnt work. It took them over a day to fix the sink. The sink was unusable. It shot out at high pressure to the right. The pool seems to be rented to the brit swim school so during the week youre only allowed HALF the pool area even though you paid for access to it all. This is not mentioned before paying. The property is nice on in the halls but the pool/water area is what most people come for. It looks disgusting and nothing like the pics. The bottom of the floor is disgusting, they would leave bandages, hair, lashes, papaers, etc down for DAYS. Every Wednesday they close the pool for "cleaning " and it just so happens to be right before the brit swim school comes. The hallway garbages always smelled like warmed up vomit. The breakfast is another thing. The food is left out for anyone to access and its not stored properly. They let people stick their hands in the bag of preboiled eggs that sat there from the day i checked in to the day i checked out. The breakfast is also 2/10. The fact that you have to pay extra for something that atrocious is beyond me. The breakfast was the same every single day. The food isnt being brought up to temp, the biscuits were warm on the putside and ice cold in the middle like a microwave was used. The breakfast is extremely limited and was never clean and prepped properly. Food all over, juice and milk were both empty every single day. I have so more to say but no more space.

1. The lobby & all public access spaces were NOT temperature controlled! It was literally as miserably hot/humid inside as it was outside?! 2. Our Room was NOT cleaned well. There was a “fresh blueberry” laying on the carpet by the fridge. The ceiling had a streak of brown stain over the beds/across 1/3 of the room that looked like chronic water damage/bodily fluids?!(GROSS) The toilet paper roll was almost all the way gone AND the toilet had tissue IN IT STILL?! 3. Their new “budget cuts/inflation” sized “TOWEL-ettes” they have down-sized to stock in the pool area were pitifully small and could not even dry off my baby! Much less an ADULT?! It was also frustrating that for TWO days we were there, it seems the staff couldn't even keep their tiny hand towel-ettes stocked for guests to use. 4. We paid extra for our Suite Package Rate Deal because it was supposed to include a full hot breakfast?! I was down their in their 95’ breakfast area a whole 55 minutes before breakfast was supposed to end… and already they ONLY had 1 HARD stale bagel, 2 ends of break, a handful of cereal scattered across the counter. Cold scrambled eggs. And a few leftover/returned burnt-to-a-crisp pieces of bacon. Once the office staff member got off her cell phone… then she came into the Kitchen area and apologized a lot and said that she would have the fresh food items out as soon as possible. Given the extremely hot and uncomfortable temperature in the lobby and the dining area, I could not wait to see how long that was going to take and left without any buffet breakfast.

There was nothing!

Took my mom to the lantern festival atJohn Ball zoo for her 82nd birthday and stayed at that hotel. The surrounding area was definitely unkept, and it reeked of cigarette smoke outside and inside. The room was clean, but my shower was dirty. The front desk lady was overwhelmed with people trying to check in, but very friendly and tried to be accommodating. I reserved two rooms and instead of putting us in an adjoining room, hotels.com listed the second room under someone else’s name and we were unable to get adjoining rooms. So my mom was on the third floor and I was up on the fourth floor.

Because I booked via Expedia, I was told I could not request room location in hotel, late check out not available, basically just had attitude because I did not use their website. Asked for a do not disturb sign, told out of them but would put me down as no housekeeping because I’m a 2nd shifter and sleep late, but was woke up anyway by housekeeping pounding on the door. Room was moderately clean, but floors were not, I should at least be reimbursed for 2 pairs of previously white socks that I thru out after the bottoms turned black. Mid week stay, not a busy hotel but couldn’t get upper floor as requested and put next door to a loud family of 5 when I was traveling alone and there were many other rooms available. Overall not a great experience.
