Most of the staff were pleasant and efficient. We asked for an extra blanket for the room and that was provided no problem. Cosy bar area and guest lounge. Good breakfast.

The gentleman on reception in the morning on checking out was a little lacking in basic good manners, e.g. no "Good Morning did you have a nice stay?" etc. A little uncommunicative and I felt quite uncomfortable.

Great breakfast. Very cheerful and attentive staff. Toast rack, side plate and second knife. Traditional values, cosy and comfortable.

It would have been good to have shampoo.

Character, Comfort, Location including car parking Great bar with log burning fireplace Brilliant staff

Nothing. No lift and very few flat floors. This might be a issue for some guests
