Very cosy very friendly staff and most importantly dog friendly

The food menu options was not good. Also we were not told about the kitchen being off for the evening that we stayed.

Friendly, comfy stay.

Room was draughty (ill-fitting windows)

It was great value for money but it is tired. Staff are too busy to serve and upsell. Rooms are comfortable. It could be amazing but needs dome work it I appreciate it’s a tricky environment x

Slightly tired

Lovely period property in a superb central location with plenty of onsite parking. The staff were outstanding. Inside has obviously been refurbished to a high standard and the breakfast was good value and very good quality. The room was clean and comfortable.

Difficult to fault given the period nature of the property. Wish list would be more plug sockets or usb ports in the bedroom - and perhaps a better TV? Also no shampoo and conditioner n the room but we never asked. To be honest though, they are suggestions rather than didn’t likes, as the stay was great - it’s difficult to fault.

The property is well located in the centre of Oakham with its own car park. The historical features of the old building enhance the rooms. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful

There is nothing we don’t like about the property

The rooms could do with a larger/smart tv
