Guests highly rate the clean and peaceful environment and frequently praise the excellent staff service.
It's located on a beautiful private lake. Downside is that because the lake is private guests do not have access unless they know someone who has property in Indian Lake. It's also a short drive from the Flight 93 Memorial.
Rooms were way outdated the bathroom and shower especially The bed left a lot to be desired. The staff was great as was the restaurant and bar. Excellent place for a boys weekend around the golf course
Was set I in
Adequate for a one night stay.
People were super nice. The location is pretty. It’s on the lake, but not on the lake. You can see the lake, but can’t walk down to it — or we weren’t shown the way. The lodge is interesting. It’s interesting and could be fun with a group. Definitely not a chain!!
I work for a television company that stayed at the Lodge for a week in June while we filmed a special in the area and we had the best time! Our crew is about 20 people which they were able to accommodate at a weeks notice with no issues. The rooms are in the process of being renovated so all of us received the renovated rooms, clean new bathrooms and Roku tvs! We were able to use the beautiful ballroom to shoot our interview portions with no issues or interruptions (unheard of in the TV biz). Anything we needed was worked out for us. Our days ended up being so long that it was too late to go anywhere other than the Lodge Restaurant/Bar for dinner. The menu was big enough that nobody was tired of eating there, the food was better than expected each night and the service was even better! On our last night, there was live music and he was great! He played all of our requests and kept the party going with hit after hit...very talented! Lastly, Michelle, the manager was the best! She made our stay so easy and special after long, stressful days of shooting this television special. Couldn't recommend this place enough..don't judge a book by its cover!
Kinda reminds me of a 1950s Hitchcock hotel. The room was so old and outdated I thought I went back in time. The insulation around the sliding glass patio doors was sprayed on by an amateur and was 'dripping' (dry) out of the seams. The smoke alarm had NO ALARM attached to the base plate and wires exposed. Since there is NO front desk personnel after 10PM, and no smoke alarm = a disaster waiting to happen. Guests would have to call 911 themselves, the brochure says. The TV had only ROKU programs so you can never get any local or national network news. But, the bar food was very and the personnel there friendly. Find another place to stay.
Had a great weekend at the lodge. Awesome service from Jason and his staff. With everything going on, We had a blast and also felt very safe. This is def a hidden gem in PA. Worth every minute staying there. Went with a few friends and we had a blast.
USThis hidden gem in the PA mountains sits next to a beautiful Arnold Palmer-designed golf course above a private lake. New ownership has infused an enthusiastic “can do” spirit. Friendly and welcoming service awaits. Cheers! Casual dining, fun bar atmosphere occasionally with weekend entertainment. Clean, comfortable sleeping rooms adjacent to a public course round out the Lodge’s old school charm. We used the Lodge as overflow for a big weekend family function. The rooms offer rustic charm; clean and functional. They have balconies with views, heat/AC, two full beds separated by a half wall, coffee maker, mini fridge, simple continental breakfast, daily maid service. This is a cool and quiet, picturesque location close to many activities including the Flight 93 memorial. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!
USHave been going to this resort on an annual golf trip since 2012, and this a great resort for a golf & stay package. The Northwinds Golf course is only 100 yards away from the resort. The resort has recently gotten new management, and Jason & Clay were EXCELLENT to work with ! This year my group had 18, and they made sure everything was taken care of, from check-in, to departure. They set us up in the wedding hall with 3 large tables, and my group had the entire room to ourselves the entire weekend. The bar is just a short walk away in a connecting room and offered a good variety of on tap and bottled beers. They also have a restaurant right there on location too. The food was awesome, one night I had a delicious steakhouse burger, the next a ribeye cooked to perfection; prices were very reasonable. The rooms are dated, but large, clean, and offer nice views of either the golf course or the lake. I’m sure the new owners have plans to make some updates in the future. If you looking for a golf package that means you don’t need to move your car from the time you arrive, till you leave, this is the place. I will certainly return for years to come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
