Guests highly rate the clean and peaceful environment and frequently praise the excellent staff service.
Large rooms with great Mountain View’s. 5-10 minutes from the 9/11 memorial for Flight 93. Lodge Restaurant was convenient with good food. We went mid week in October, I think we were the only ones staying in the hotel.
Friendly staff. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The views from our room overlooked the golf coarse and mountains. We will definitely come back.
My room was spacious, very clean, with a lovely view and a balcony where I could have my coffee. The staff at check-in, in the restaurant, and housekeeping were super friendly, efficient, and helpful. The cons are - the lock was broken on the sliding glass door in my room, no elevator, no hair dryer, and I wasn’t told that I needed to turn the hot water heater on in my room in order to get hot water. (The housekeeping lady then showed me how, and offered to let me shower in an unoccupied room- which I appreciated.) All in all - nice place, great staff, beautiful grounds, good food - just doesn’t have all the bells and whistles I expect at the price they’re charging.
USWe golfed at the Peninsula Golf course which we enjoyed. We had Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the Arrowhead Restaurant where all 3 meals were delicious. But the rooms are very dated. The bathrooms were clean but look like something from the 50's and the carpeting in the rooms were gross. We were there with 2 other couples and they all agreed about the rooms. We had a hole in the wall in our bathroom where a tissue box should have been I'm assuming. Heater in bathroom was all rusty. Also, they have an indoor pool but it wasn't open. I would only rate cleanliness as poor due to the shape of the carpeting. There is nothing grosser than old carpeting. If they would update their rooms, I'd go back for a golf weekend in a heartbeat. It was $179 per night - no meals included.
Indian Lake lodge is a great place to stay to enjoy the area!
Old world charm in the country was magnificent. The twin bed not so comfy, the chicken dinner was terrible but the steak was fine.
convenient to flight 93 memorial-which is in the middle of nowhere staff was really good
Not exactly "primitive" but not as high-end as city hotels. The lake & surrounding homes are beautiful! Quiet and somewhat secluded from the outside world. Would be a beautiful venue for weddings and family gatherings. Restaurant is a little pricey, but food is well worth it! Neighboring golf course looks very nice. About 15 minutes from Flight 93 Memorial and half hour to Queecreek Mine Rescue Site. Will definitely stay again!
This is like a mini golf resort next to a big beautiful lake where you can rent a boat for the day!! Rode the motorcycles out from central pa on some of the best roads along rt 30 or you can take the turnpike. The staff was so nice and the people so friendly. we rode our motorcycles out here and went to Johnstown for the Thunder in the Valley road rally and just had an amazing time!!!
Very nicely maintained and loved the fact we had "keys" to our room!!
